I died June 19, 1774 at my home "Chantilly" in the town of my childhood, Westermoreland, Virginia, after feeling ill for a long time. I was 62 years old. I died an honorable man. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, a former president of the Continental Congress, a former Virginia senator, a Son of Liberty, and the starter of the Revolution!
